The Current War is a biological drama based on true events. Back in the 1880s onwards. Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse are competing to see who can become successful with their invention. DC and AC electricity. They were prepared to play dirty. Nikola Tesla had been screwed over and that is well known. I was not familiar with Westinghouse. Edison is well known. Martin Scorcese is the Executive Producer. Nice cinematography, costume, props, effects. I like the dialogue, acting and soundtrack. It is a good movie. Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Shannon, Tom Holland, Nicholas Hoult are amongst the cast. I will be looking at trivia and the back story of some of the people mentioned. Edison has many inventions to his name. The inventors wanted to power an entire city using electricity. Edison does most travelling by train. He has his secretary by his side. J P Morgan the banker is involved with financing the ideas. You might also like:

I went to the cinema and it had been raining. I went to see Marvel's Black Widow. First of all Stephen Dorff is wrong. I did hope or think that it would take place even before Natasha ever came to work for Tony. Scarlet Johansson and Florence Pugh are hot. With this solo film it has it's own identity. If you like Bond, Bourne then this is a must see. Natasha is on the run. Following on from the events in Captain America Civil War. Rachel Weisz, David Harbour, Ray Winstone also star. You get the origin story in Ohio in the 90s. The family had to flee. With the opening credits you see what happens after. The main villain has super soldiers, assassins. He controls the Red Room. It is where Natasha and her sister were trained. The villain has the Taskmaster causing destruction. There is a chemical antidote that the soldiers are after. Lots of new characters are introduced. Plenty of action. Dry sense of humour. Soundtrack is something else. Pugh and Harbour do steal scenes that ...
