Skylines Director: Liam O Donnell Actors: Lindsey Morgan, Rhona Mitra, James Cosmo, Alexander Siddig Genres: Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi Country: France Release Year: 2020 Duration: 110 min Synopsis: When a virus threatens to turn the now earth-dwelling friendly alien hybrids against humans, Captain Rose Corley must lead a team of elite mercenaries on a mission to the alien world in order to save what's left of humanity. This is the third and final film. I had watched Skyline and Beyond Skyline. This takes place 15 years after the invasion. Connecting all three films. Rose is now a grown woman. Her brother Trent is a Pilot. Those alien creatures with human brains. There is a virus turning the Pilots bad. In cliché fashion a team of mercenaries is created and they set off for the alien planet. This is an indie scifi so special effects on a budget. It is a decent trilogy. A diverse cast. I remember when Rhona Mitra was the live model for Lara Croft. The soundtrack will be available soon.

You get the origin story in Ohio in the 90s. The family had to flee. With the opening credits you see what happens after. The main villain has super soldiers, assassins. He controls the Red Room. It is where Natasha and her sister were trained. The villain has the Taskmaster causing destruction. There is a chemical antidote that the soldiers are after. Lots of new characters are introduced. Plenty of action. Dry sense of humour. Soundtrack is something else. Pugh and Harbour do steal scenes that ...
