Escape Room is a psychological horror. It is a guy's birthday. He is with his girlfriend and they are headed to the restaurant to meet some friends. A trip to a place where they hold escape room type games is organised. You have this phone conversation during the opening credits. You are given clues as to who the villain is. There is a history between the characters. In the rooms they don't have any instructions but seem to work out what needs to be done. I do wonder what happened with Asian friend. Clever games, good special effects. The actors have been in other things that you may recognise them from. One of the characters wearing glasses is annoying. The blonde Kristen has nice tits.
